Grinding

Sizzling
We mentioned above that a cracked exhaust manifold can make a hissing noise. Another problem that will make the engine hiss or sizzle is leaking fluid. Naturally, once the liquid makes contact with the hot engine parts, it will sound like bacon in a frying pan. Repairing the fluid leak will solve this problem.
Squealing
Finally, your engine will squeal if the accessory belt is loose. We can tighten the belt, replace it if it is worn, or replace the tensioner if that is the problem.
